Leadership Portland Spotlight: Joe Enlet

Leadership Portland Spotlight: Joe Enlet

Name: Joe Enlet
Company: Consulate general of Micronesia
Job: Consul General

Why Joe got involved in Leadership Portland:
I hope to gain good relationships with other leaders and help to build a broader network of collaborative leaders.

Why it’s important:
Leadership development and understanding community issues are important because we live in an ever-changing world with new challenges and opportunities. Leaders must be able to respond to those challenges and opportunities especially as they effect communities. As leaders we have to constantly learn and develop so that we may stand ready to be part of solutions that serve our community.

Why Joe loves Portland:
My favorite thing about the Portland region is the beauty of the Willamette and the Columbia rivers.

Fun Fact:
I volunteer primarily with the COFA Alliance National Network (CANN) organize and advocate for Pacific Islanders from Micronesia. I like to sing and play the keyboard, guitar, and ukulele especially with my kids.
